Welcome

I’ve owned this domain for a long time and I’ve always planned to set up some kind of blog or website here. However, I couldn’t decide how to build it. I wanted it to be enjoyable to maintain, so that I actually would keep the site alive. I played around with different frameworks, like Gatsby, Next, Nuxt, and Astro, but it was always a pain in the ass to handle dependencies when coming back to the project after a while. It killed fun and momentum. Building my own static site generator also seemed fun. I did that for a while and it was fun, but never got around to deploying it. The project never reached a point where I was happy with the quality of the output.

A few years passed, and now it doesn’t matter which framework I use. As long as the content is written in Markdown, migrating from one framework to another costs nothing, thanks to agents. So I found a nice blog template. It used Hugo. Decision is made, I’ll use Hugo then. I asked Codex to set it up, and finally, I’ve deployed something here.
